A L i t t l e Ab o u t M e Danielle started writing her children's book, The Ant in the Cellar, in the summer of 2004, as the Creative Writing teacher at a summer camp in West Philadelphia. Inspired by her students, her story paints a fantastical world through poetry, where a child's imagination is the only limit. After graduating from The University of Pennsylvania in June of 2006, Danielle decided to remain in Philadelphia as a pioneering member of a new fellowship program, "Philly Fellows." Danielle spends most of her day at The PEACE Project, an alternative education program serving under-resourced Philadelphia students and participates in additional community projects to help improve the city she loves!
